It is difficult for me to imagine anything worse than a child who is hungry and alone. Yet in India, there are more than 20 million orphans below the poverty line who lack food, education, and a safe environment. Psalm 68:5 tells us that the Lord God is “a father of orphans and protector of widows.” At Bethania Kids we do our best to channel those loving words into compassionate care for many of those orphaned and neglected children.
As you travel through our refreshed website, we hope the vibrant faces and stories inspire you as you see the results of the good work the Lord is doing in India. God’s love is transforming children from despair to hope. Each child is valued as a precious son or daughter who is worthy of love, safety, play, nutrition, medicine, education, and guidance. Each child is given a runway to reach his or her full potential. Not even a global health crisis can stop that progress.
